Implementation of new international standards
Version 2026.b expands CYPE's international reach with updated standards in modules such as CYPECAD, CYPE 3D, StruBIM Steel, and CYPE Connect, including:
• Turkish wind standard TS 498:2021 in CYPECAD;
• Algerian seismic standard RPA 2024 in CYPECAD and CYPE 3D;
• Romanian hot-rolled steel standards SR EN 1993-1-1 and cold-formed steel SR EN 1993-1-3 (with IS 801-1975 from India) in CYPECAD, CYPE 3D, and Portal frame generator;
• Australian anchor standards AS 3600:2018 and AS 5216:2021 in StruBIM Steel and CYPE Connect.

Direct project opening
Now, project files are automatically associated with the corresponding CYPE program in the Windows environment, allowing files to be opened with a double-click without manually selecting the software.

Structural improvements in CYPECAD and CYPE 3D
New checks for piles and foundations, the ability to define multiple stirrup sections, and advanced options for editing punching shear and portal frame drawings.

New options for steel connections
Connection designs with solid bars and partial penetration weld checks have been expanded in StruBIM Steel and CYPE Connect.

New features in CYPEPLUMBING
Inclusion of the Detailed Model of Water Supply and Sanitation Systems module, with automatic routing and grouping by floor.

Updates in CYPEHVAC
Thermal and acoustic calculation in ducts, improvements in installation editing, and system-based sizing with optimized criteria.

Additional functionalities
• Automatic distribution of emergency lights in CYPELUX;
• Conversion of piping systems into native families in the Open BIM – Revit Plugin;
• Advanced table customization in Open BIM Quantities.
